Brands connect with their markets through content. These are stories -- ones that move and touch the core of a person's being -- that reach out to your audience. To achieve this, you have to know that content marketing is not as simple as posting a social media status or coming up with an About page on your website. There is an art of conveying your message, whether it is about how you started your company or a new product or service you're offering or your day-to-day inspiring messages, in a way that has a lingering effect to the senses.

About The Speaker/s

Beatrix (Coles) Holland

Beatrix is a content specialist. She has worked with brands including Medibank, Australia Post, Telstra, PwC, Kmart, Intrepid Travel, Handee, and The Good Guys. She also has a special interest in collaborating with startups and small businesses. She is a co-organiser of ContentMelb, a monthly meetup for content strategists in Melbourne. Away from the screen, she is an amateur latte critic, and is always planning the next trip to Japan.

Ophelie Lechat

After realising that her journalism dreams wouldn't lead to full-time employment, Ophelie moved to the dark side and became a marketer in 2011. In the meantime, she has helped startups, publishers, NFPs and brands tell their stories in a digital space. She especially enjoys working with early-stage entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs in mission-driven organisations, helping them differentiate themselves through smart storytelling. She currently runs ntegrity Academy, where she helps organisations grow their digital capabilities and start in-house digital incubators.

Wow! I learn't just how important and multi-faceted Content Marketing was! Both speakers were engaging, knowledgeable and passionate about thier industry and brought us all along on thier adventure on what Content Marketing is, excellent tools of the inductry and appropriate strategies for each size of business, even those just starting out - which was great for start-up's! Keep these sessions coming. I've been to all of them in 2018 and can't get enough. Can't wait for next week! - David Kelertas
