Description

Most startup founders build their business around their passion. Tech geeks build IT companies, food lovers open a restaurant, or professionals establish consulting firms. While your passion may fuel you to start your own venture, you need more than that to sustain your business and keep it going. There are processes and systems that need to understand -- from operations to accounting, to sales and marketing, to hiring people -- that may be entirely new to you.

Don't get lost in the nitty-gritty details that are needed to run a business. You may be overwhelmed with all the ideas and the things you needed to that that might freeze you on your tracks. Have a clear direction on where you are going and begin that by freeing your mind and absorbing whatever you can learn from this workshop.

Probably, what you most need right now is to hear something from an expert that can part your own Red Sea, clear the cobwebs and point you in the right direction.

About The Speaker/s

Vanessa Vanderhaven

www.vanessavanderhaven.com

With a profound appreciation for detail and a relentlessly optimistic view on life – Melbourne-based illustrator, Vanessa, finds most of her days are spent drawing faces and flowers and drinking considerable amounts of peppermint tea from her favourite Pantone mug. Vanessa’s work has evolved over the last six years of illustrating. However, she has maintained a strong focus on confident female beauty with detailed fashion and botanical accents. She believes in empowering and delighting others through artistic visuals and in the last year has introduced colour and digital elements to lift her illustrations and communicate the story behind her work. When she’s not drawing or drinking tea, she’s busy getting lost in the streets of Melbourne and deciding which music artist makes her feel more baller between BANKS and Sampa The Great.

WeTeachMe is our vision of the future of learning: inspired and impassioned learning that is run by the people, for the people.

In 2016, WeTeachMe officially became the biggest school in Australia, one giant leap towards our fundamental goal to be the biggest school in the world.
