Business Legals and IP: What You Need to Know
If you have the passion, the skills and the concept to start a venture then you have the tools and ingredients that can help you cook up a new business. But they are not enough. The technical and legal part of founding a startup is the arduous part. There are business permits and registrations needed to make your venture legit. You have to know about contracts, taxation, labour, and other legal intricacies that are related to running a company. Not only will it free you from unnecessary stress, but it is also a way of protecting your business.
As a business owner, you have to familiarize yourself with the laws and regulations that are in place so that you know the things you need to abide with and the things that can protect you from unwarranted situations. If this is an area where you need the help most, it is better to seek the advice of knowledgeable persons on business regulations who can orient you with the do's and don'ts in business. Good thing we have this workshop because you can just do all that in a venue where experts can guide you through the regulations pertaining to setting up and running an enterprise. Remember, ignorance of the law, as well as of business regulations, is never an excuse. Be in the know.
